Our Mission
At Spot On With Numbers, we are passionate about developing number sense in children and giving them the best start in their mathematical journey. In 2019, we launched an exciting product specifically designed around research into the most successful ways to develop number sense and secure a solid foundation of mathematical understanding. The product is in the form of a concrete and pictorial resource that develops children's fluency by promoting their ability to subitise (instantly ‘see’ the total number of objects without needing to count them all) and explore physical manipulations of numbers before doing them mentally. Spot On With Numbers allows children the opportunity to explore a variety of different representations, enabling them to make links, see connections and develop mathematical reasoning. Spot On With Numbers is a fun, easy to use resource. It can be used in the early years of education where children learn through play and later to model calculations.
